This position assists the Associate Director of Youth Discipleship in forming and supporting parish youth ministers and fostering discipleship within the Latino community across the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. This role serves as both a pastoral bridge and program liaison, ensuring Latino parishes and leaders are fully integrated into the broader mission of youth discipleship and evangelization.

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Latino community for all youth discipleship initiatives, programs, and events.
  • Support the Associate Director of Youth Discipleship in implementing discipleship frameworks, formation opportunities, and personalized coaching tailored for Latino parish contexts.
  • Build and sustain relationships with Latino parish leaders, youth ministers, and volunteers, supporting them in the mission of forming young disciples.
  • Facilitate and coordinate collaboration among bilingual parishes, ensuring inclusion and shared participation in diocesan events and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Office of Latino Ministry, NET Ministries, and other diocesan partners to strengthen pastoral outreach and communication.
  • Coordinate with other Youth Discipleship Coordinator(s) to plan and implement events and resources accessible to both English and Spanish-speaking communities.
  • Assist in planning and executing major Archdiocesan events such as Summits, Lifeline, Latinomente, March for Life, retreats, orientations, and future initiatives — with particular attention to outreach and participation from Latino communities.
  • Create and maintain databases of Latino outreach coordinators, youth ministers, event contacts, and participants, as well as available formation opportunities in and beyond the Archdiocese.
  • Communicate regularly with parish leaders and partners via email, phone, and in-person meetings to provide resources, updates, and pastoral accompaniment.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Discipleship and Evangelization to address emerging needs and help advance the mission of youth discipleship across cultures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
