Lead Preschool Teacher

St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Vermillion is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our dynamic preschool team, leading a classroom of preschool children. Our full-day program serves between 25 and 30 students daily. You will be part of a supportive, cooperative team that currently includes two lead teachers and two assistants, with strong backing from administration and colleagues.  This position is for the 2026 - 2027 school year, with an option to begin in February 2026. 

St. John the Baptist Catholic School is located in Vermillion, MN.   We are 20 minutes south of St. Paul, just off Highway 52, about 10 minutes west of Hastings. We work hard to give back to our very supportive local community through acts of service and charity.

Key Qualifications:

• Passion for teaching and student growth in early childhood.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• A teaching credential in Early Childhood or Elementary education is preferred.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
