Description
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) teaching method knowledge
- Successfully give presentations to small groups of children in the Atrium
- Maintain accurate records for the work presented to and work with the children
- Maintain Atrium environment by replacing used materials and preparing the environment for the next Atrium session
- Help children develop their relationship with God through their contact with Scripture, Liturgy, and the History of Salvation
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communications skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with CGS Leader and Faith Formation Minister
- Commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for the children
- Desire to share their faith with families of our parish
Qualifications
- Level I CGS Certification Required
- Strong Knowledge of and commitment to the Roman Catholic Faith. It is required that this employee be a practicing Catholic
- Atrium hours are afternoons Mondays – Wednesdays 3:00 – 6:30 PM
- Must be able to build Lesson Plans for each child, each week
