Full-Time Office Manager
The position of Office Manager at Holy Family Academy serves the purpose of managing the daily operations and the administrative needs of the school, with a special emphasis on enhancing the school’s mission of providing joyful, classical and Catholic formation to our Pre-k 3-year-old to 8th grade students. The ideal candidate will be able to assist the principal, other key department heads, and all school and parish staff in planning for and implementing many of the spiritual, academic, and business endeavors that occur on a repetitive or cyclical basis (i.e. registration, enrollment, supply acquisitions, billing, accounts payable, scheduling, calendaring, communication, maintaining and enforcing maintenance agreements, special events, volunteer/field trip coordination, personnel processing/records, outside use of the building/fobs, etc.)
The candidate must be able to pay keen attention to policy adherence to federal, diocesan, state, and other external laws and regulations (employee labor laws, record keeping requirements, diocesan reports, insurance requirements, OPYC expectations, etc). The office manager assists in the maintenance of the technology room and faculty computers, provides staff and student access to computer accounts, manages one-drive, updates website, administers MAP testing, etc. The candidate must also be able to advocate for and collaborate with others to maintain and enhance office and all-school policy and procedures while managing time to complete the most vital tasks as necessary, delegating to others as appropriate. The office manager attends faculty meetings and in-services as recording secretary.

Job Qualifications: Important characteristics include excellent problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate on a team, ability to prioritize work under pressure and meet deadlines, employing a patient and methodical approach, ability to work alone or as part of a team and discretion with sensitive data. A high level of technological skill is necessary in order to complete the multitude of tasks for which the office manager is responsible. The person filling this position must be organized, have a working knowledge of TADs school software (including Cornerstone faculty and student applications), Microsoft One Drive, Microsoft Office, Wufoo, Sign-up Genius, etc. They also must be able to understand teachers and the needs of teachers and pitch in as necessary to help in emergencies with whatever needs to be done. In addition a BA is required. The candidate must be willing to work 40 hours per week (with overtime opportunities sometimes available) and work on a year-round basis with hours of 7:00-3:30.
