Part-Time Enrollment Coordinator

Job Description

St. Joseph’s Catholic School in West St. Paul is seeking a part-time (16-20 hours) Enrollment Coordinator for its Preschool-grade 8 school.  The primary responsibility is to support the mission of the school through community engagement and growing student enrollment.  In addition, the Enrollment Coordinator will work closely with administration to help create and implement the school’s marketing plan to meet enrollment objectives and the promotion of the school.

St. Joseph’s Catholic School is the primary ministry of the Church of St. Joseph, an active and faithful parish of over 1800 households.  The school has a tradition of providing excellence in Catholic education for students in Preschool through eighth grade.  The school’s administration and faculty provide authentic faith formation, challenging curriculum, and quality instruction enhanced by the fine arts and extra-curricular activities.  Spiritual growth is fostered and encouraged through instruction in the Catholic faith, participation in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, liturgies, daily prayer, sacramental preparation, the development of virtue with the emphasis on service to others.  We are blessed with an experienced, highly credentialed and dedicated faculty and staff.  We serve over 370 students from the areas West. St. Paul, Mendota Heights, Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, South St. Paul, and St. Paul.  In addition, our parents, families, and community are all actively engaged in our school.

Job Qualifications: Candidates should be/have; Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church. Bachelor's Degree or higher. Commitment to the school's mission and the ability to articulate the mission to others. Experience working in an educational setting, with enrollment coordinations, marketing, and communications preferred. Ability to work independently as well as with school administration, faculty, organizations, and boards. Careful and secure treatment of all information and data, with primary emphasis on confidentiality. Effective communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking. Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan, implement, and follow through on all work assignments in an efficient and professional manner. Financial skills to understand requirements of budget, expense analysis, and reports. Proficiency with Macintosh computers, web publishing platforms, shared Google documents, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint and data bases. Strong knowledge of and experience with social media.
