Full-Time Director of Music and Worship Experience
The Director of Music and Worship Experience will own providing a culture of worship and hospitality through coordinating music and liturgy for weekend Masses and other events with a focus on participant engagement and first-impressions experience. The Director of Music and Worship Experience will play a key role in continuing our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ by bringing people into a loving, personal relationship with God, living in the power of the Holy Spirit, and being in communion with the Catholic Church. The successful candidate will collaborate with other team members to create an irresistible environment that will inspire people to take the next step in their faith.

Create a sacred and welcoming environment by planning and coordinating the weekend Mass experience to foster a full, active, conscious participation by parishioners and guests:
Recruit, mentor, and schedule ministry volunteers in the execution of all liturgical and support activities including but not limited to: Mass Coordinators, Music Ministers, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Welcome Team, Ushers, Hospitality, Altar Servers, Audio-Visual Tech, Livestreaming, and Environment (decorating).
Provide support of the Music Ministry groups for weekend liturgies including guidance in the selection of music.
Initiate enhancements (e.g., new music) that build on our rich worship tradition and carry forth the vision of evangelism.
Effectively manage administrative tasks for liturgy and music including planning, budgeting, scheduling and communicating with other departments and parish ministries.
Conduct all activities in support of music and liturgy programs including licensing, copyright reporting, ordering supplies (wine, hosts, vestments, linens, sacred vessels, candles, batteries, ashes, incense), updating screen content and support materials, and maintaining music and audio equipment.
Participate in and direct the liturgical music and/or liturgy for the weekend Masses as needed.
Oversee other aspects of music for our parish:
Facilitate music for events such as Holy Days, Praise and Worship Nights, Healing Masses, Parish Missions, Communal Penance Services, Weddings, and Funerals.
Work with youth minister to coordinate senior high youth music group and encourage youth participation.
