Qualifications include the ability to learn music quickly, practice individually, must work well with other professionals and with less experienced volunteers, an understanding and respect for the Roman Catholic worship tradition, and any kind of professional training in vocal music is encouraged but not required.
Job Qualifications: Seeking qualified individuals to serve as cantors for liturgies. Cantors will serve primarily at 4:30 PM Saturday and 6:00 PM Sunday Masses, and join a volunteer roster of cantors and may be assigned other regularly scheduled/special liturgies as schedule and need allow. Cantors will lead the congregation in hymns and sing Mass settings, proclaim the Responsorial Psalm, and sing chants, the Gospel Acclamation verse, and other music as arranged.
