Part-Time Business Administrator
The Church of St. Peter Claver is seeking to hire a part-time Business Administrator. The Business Administrator is responsible for managing daily financial activities including cash receipts, payroll, purchasing, budgeting, internal controls, and business planning. Additionally, this individual will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and with Archdiocesan policies. The Business Administrator oversees the risk management program, assists with hiring and terminations, and collaborates with outside accounting service to ensure accurate financial reports. This position works collaboratively with the Pastor, council members, staff, and parishioners, providing information as requested.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field, and 2 years of experience in same. Prefer 3+ years non-profit business experience and a familiarity with church operations. Proficient in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and accounting, donor, and payroll systems. Satisfactory background check will be required.
