Purpose of Position:
The Associate Director of Admissions will report to the Vice President for Advancement and will be a key member of the Advancement office at DeLaSalle. The position will require the use of a variety of skills and will primarily be responsible in four areas: creating effective relationships with prospective students and parents; management of prospect data; public speaking and individual family follow-up; and support for admissions-related events

Job Qualifications: DeLaSalle High School, a co-ed Catholic High School, grades 9-12, located on beautiful Nicollet Island in the heart of the City of Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions, to join our Advancement team as an Admissions officer. The ideal person is one with passion for Catholic, urban, college preparatory education, and supports our mission by demonstrating strong analytical skills, an attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high levels of service. The candidate will bring technical and analytical skills to the Advancement office, ensuring the integrity of our database, providing reports and analysis, and supporting our Islander community by being welcoming and supportive. Spanish bi-lingual abilities are a plus. The candidate is one who is seeking to make a difference in the lives of young people and their families. Qualifications and Skills:  Bachelor’s Degree required.  Strong attention to detail and organization;  Ability to handle multiple projects;  Curiosity and commitment to the legacy and the vision of DeLaSalle;  Strong interpersonal and written communication skills;  Experience with Rediker or equivalent school data bases;  Demonstrated record as a self-starter, a creative and ethical thinker, and an action-oriented individual with a sense of urgency and passion for our mission;  Ability to be both collaborative and competitive  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; supporting Advancement efforts.  Bilingual skills preferred.
