Full-Time Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant serves as initial contact in the school office and a source of communication for all involved in the school, including students, parents, volunteers, teachers, staff, administration, and parishioners. This role is responsible for assisting the administration and teachers in the planning and programming for school events while supporting the learning environment for all members of the school community. General office responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, greeting and directing visitors, management of supplies and machines, copying and material support to administration and teachers, record keeping (both physical and electronic) and filing for all school programs and administrative needs, organization and distribution of school materials and communications, and scheduling needs for school programs and administrative team.
As a face of the school, the Administrative Assistant fosters school spirit and a positive office environment through professional, supportive, and respectful interactions with all stakeholders, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality of information.
Job Qualifications: The candidate should possess proficiency with the computer and Microsoft Office, strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to work as a member of a team, the ability to work on a variety of projects at one time, and be able to work with a variety of age groups. It is preferred that the candidate is also a practicing Catholic.
