Full-Time Accounting Specialist
This is a very fast paced work environment. There are several bank accounts to manage as well as a Pre-K through 8th Grade school and a cemetery. Responsibilities include; accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank deposits, tuition management and other projects as assigned. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task. He/she must have accounting experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Job Qualifications: Proficiency in math, bookkeeping and accounting skills. Previous experience in accounting. Knowledge of payroll and tax requirements. Proficient skills in key boarding and 10 key. Ability to organize and manage a heavy workload. Ability to work as a team player. Must have knowledge of basic financial reports. Must have knowledge related to financial investments. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in using accounting software, preferably QuickBooks. Must be able to meet deadlines. Must have good organizational skills. Must be able to work independently to accomplish tasks within allotted time. Must be responsible in carrying out high quality and accurate work. Must have high school diploma, four-year college degree in related discipline preferred. Must be able to multi-task Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
