Description
Saint Agnes School seeks an Upper School Director to provide strategic, mission-driven leadership in advancing our work of forming Catholic hearts and minds in faith, reason, and virtue. Rooted in the classical liberal arts tradition, Saint Agnes School is committed to the pursuit of truth through a rich and integrated curriculum, intentional student formation, and a culture that prizes intellectual rigor, moral clarity, and joyful learning. The Upper School Director oversees the academic, formative, and cultural life of the High School and Junior High School (7-12th grades), with responsibility for faculty, student formation, discipline, advisory and house programs, and key academic program implementation. Working in close collaboration with deans, faculty leaders, academic support and counselling services, admissions, and senior administration, the Upper School Director ensures coherence, excellence, and fidelity to the school’s mission across all aspects of Upper School life.
Qualifications
A faithful and practicing Catholic ready to serve as a joyful witness to the Gospel and the teachings of the Church, with a deep understanding of Catholic education and a desire to partner with parents in the holistic formation of their children.
The successful candidate will have:
-A deep commitment to Catholic education and a strong understanding and appreciation for classical and liberal arts curriculum and pedagogy.
-Minimum of five years of administrative experience, with demonstrated leadership in faculty development, student formation, and organizational management.
-Exceptional communication skills are essential, including the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with faculty, students, parents, and senior leadership, and to foster trust through transparent, thoughtful, and timely communication.
-Experience with curriculum oversight, student discipline, admissions collaboration, and program development.
-A master’s degree is preferred; advanced degrees and prior experience in Catholic secondary education are highly desirable.
