School Kitchen Aide

The School Kitchen Aide works under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager to support the preparation, serving, and clean-up of daily school meals. This individual plays an important role in ensuring that breakfast and lunch are served in a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment that meets all safety and health guidelines.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with cleaning up breakfast service and preparation area.
• Support the Kitchen Manager with lunch preparation and setup.
• Serve lunch to students and staff in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
• Clean and sanitize all lunchroom and kitchen equipment and surfaces after use.
• Assist in the organization and inventory of kitchen supplies.
• Work cooperatively with other school staff and volunteers.
• Be present and ready to work on time for all scheduled hours.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to follow direction and work as part of a team.
• Experience working in a kitchen, cafeteria, or food service preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.
• Respectful, responsible, and able to work around children.
• Completion of background check and required Archdiocesan training.
