Description

The receptionist will be responsible for greeting all visitors, answering phones, managing staff, teacher, and student needs that arise, assisting in the health office as necessary, organizing supplies, working with school parent organizations, helping parish groups, assisting to ensure that we have necessary volunteers for day-to-day operations and events and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma with more than 5 years of advanced administrative assistant experience preferred.
  2. Extremely joyful and happy.  Ability to make people feel comfortable and appreciated in a short amount of time.
  3. Appropriate knowledge and skills in office and school procedures.
  4. Faith-filled follower of the Catholic Church
  5. Ability to communicate effectively using Standard English.
  6. Good written and verbal skills.
  7. Training in first aid and CPR.
  8. Work effectively and collegially with others in a positive manner.
  9. Ability to take initiative in decision-making.
  10. Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  11. Ability to learn and implement new office software.
  12. Ability to effectively complete new programs, processes, and procedures as directed by the Administration.
  13. Proficient in technology as the position demands including but not limited to the Internet, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Outlook.
  14. Ability to multi-task.
  15. Ability to prioritize work.
  16. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  17. Possess high level of integrity and honesty.
  18. Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
  19. Ability to follow directions.
  20. Ability to work with a positive attitude.

  25. Completion and continual re-credentialing of the Essential 3: Code of Conduct, background checks, and VIRTUS training.
