Preschool & Extended Day Director

Blessed Trinity Catholic School is seeking a Full-Time Teacher/Director of Preschool & School Age Care. The Director serves as both a lead preschool teacher and director for all extended day programs serving students Preschool-8. In coordination with the school principal, the Director of Extended Day provides for the effective planning and management of full-day preschool and extended day programming. This includes the development of programs, curriculum selection and delivery, and management of preschool and extended day program staff. In addition to program oversight, the Director serves as a classroom teacher as scheduled, to include lesson planning and delivery, student supervision, resource management, and parent communication.

1) BA/BS degree in early childhood or elementary education preferred
2) MN Child Care Rule 3 Teacher qualified required
3) Demonstrated ability to direct and manage personnel. This includes recruitment, supervision, scheduling, and evaluation of preschool/childcare workers.
4) Demonstrated working knowledge of budgeting and record keeping
5) Five or more years of experience preferred, but not required
6) Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
