Part-time Accompanist

St. Bridget Catholic Community is seeking a part-time accompanist to provide for the music needs of our parish. Our current Mass times are Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. Duties include, but not limited to, playing for three weekend Masses on a rotating basis with our existing accompanist, practicing with cantors, choirs and other musicians as needed for the Masses you are scheduled for and playing for special Masses, services or events on an as needed basis. Approximate hours for a scheduled week include: 4.5 hours/week plus 3 Masses (Memorial Day-Labor Day) and 8 hours/week plus Masses (Labor Day-Memorial Day) Proficiency on piano required and organ is preferred, along with experience in accompanying. Sight reading ability is also preferred. Salary is a combination of hourly and stipend and is commensurate with experience.
