Description

The Office Manager is able to perform in an efficient and professional manner duties of a receptionist and the clerical needs of the Church of St. Rita.  This is a full-time 36 hour position.

Duties include: Handling incoming calls, welcome and assist parishioners and visitors, receive and track sacramental records, coordinate baptisms and funerals, prepare monthly ministry schedules, prepare the weekly bulletin, organize bulk mailings, enter mass intentions in daily record book, prepare liturgical binders for weekend masses, prepare worship aids for funerals and other services when needed and other responsibilities or tasks assigned by Pastor or Business Administrator.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Proficient in peforming office duties and operating office equipment.
  • Proficient in operation of MicroSoft software products (Word, Excel, Publisher).
  • Prior experience with ParishSoft products is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • This position does require the employee to be a practicing Catholic.
  • Successful completion of background check is required.
