Description
St. Timothy's Catholic School in Maple Lake, Minnesota is now accepting applications for a part-time office administrative assistant for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a Catholic School supported by a vibrant community of families who are committed to Catholic identity, academic excellence, character development, and spiritual formation.
Objective: To provide administrative assistance in assigned areas under the direction of the school principal and in accordance with the school/parish mission statement, philosophy, policies, handbooks, and directions established by the principal and/or pastor.
This position require a great spirit of hospitality and confidentiality in order to maintain effective relationships and communications with: Principal, other teachers, staff, school nurse, volunteers, students, and parents
Schedule: .5 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) average hours per week. This position is a job-share that will be 2.5 days per two weeks (3 days one week and 2 the next–Wednesday being the every other week day). This is a 11-month position, August-June (with a shorter schedule after school lets out in June and before teachers report back in August).
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an actively practicing Catholic contributing to the faith community of Saint Timothy's and a welcoming presence to all as this position is often the first point of contact of the school
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in completing tasks; Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing projects and tasks
- Be able to manage reporting requirements, student recordkeeping, communication, invoicing, among other duties
- Be able to manage an office, including assisting with Virtus requirements/documentation, field trips, fundraisers, monitoring and ordering of office supplies, and interacting with teachers to support their logistical and organizational needs
