Visitation School is seeking a full-time Montessori Pre-K Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

We seek reflective, intentional educators who want to contribute to a progressive, integrated curriculum informed by Montessori pedagogy and principles.

Visitation is an independent Catholic day school with a culture permeated by Salesian Spirituality. We offer a unique combination of learning experiences with a coed Lower School (Montessori preschool through grade 5), an all-girls Middle School (grades 6-8), and an all-girls Upper School (grades 9-12).  ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guiding and executing curriculum
• Interact with students and encourage their involvement in activities
• Facilitating the learning process
• Ensuring the safety of students
• Maintain classroom management and supervise students
• Work with individual and small groups of children to support independence and learning
• Participates in individual student action plans, implementing activities and recording progress under the direction of the Guide
• Foster a nurturing and stimulating non-competitive environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Establish and maintain good communications with parents

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• BA/BS degree required
• American Montessori Society (AMS) or Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) teaching credentials are preferred
• Experience with a variety of instructional methods and multi-age learning environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty to enhance curriculum and community
• Commitment to meeting the needs of each child
• Commitment to professional growth and best practices in education

Salary Range:  $38,601  - $99,533 based on degree, teaching experience and the established salary grid.
