Description
Position Overview
St. Jude of the Lake is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE), long-term substitute middle school social studies teacher for the remainder of the school year. This is a role for an educator who loves history, storytelling, civics, and helping students see their place in the unfolding story of humanity. If bringing the American story to life excites you and connecting the past to today’s moral and civic questions energizes you, then this role is for you. As a member of a mission-driven middle school team, you will shape students at a pivotal stage, helping them become disciples of Jesus Christ who think clearly and love generously.
This long-term substitute role has the potential to be extended or developed into a full-time position for the right candidate based on fit and program needs.
