Middle School Science and Social Studies Teacher

Maternity of Mary-St. Andrew Catholic School (MMSA) is seeking a full-time, faith-filled middle school social studies and science  teacher beginning in the 2024 – 2025 school year.  This person will be responsible for creating a joyful learning environment that ensures student success spiritually, socially, emotionally and intellectually. This includes developing lesson plans, effectively delivering instruction, connecting Catholic faith to instruction, integrating technology, and developing curriculum through formative and summative assessments based on the MN Academic Standards.  

• Applicants should be practicing Catholics who are joyful witnesses to the faith in daily life and strive to work in an authentic Catholic environment.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree.  Current MN teaching licensure is a plus but not mandatory.
• Should have the ability to make subject matter relevant for students. Related outside career or teaching experience in either or both subjects is a plus. 
• Must communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff, administration, and our parish community. 
• Have the ability to integrate technology in classroom instruction. 
• Have the commitment and skills necessary to implement educational best practices.
