Description

St. Odilia School is seeking a full-time, long-term Middle School Math substitute teacher to join our faculty and staff for the remainder of the 25-26 academic year. There is a possibility that this teacher could continue into the 26-27 academic year.

We are looking for a teacher who is excited to teach middle school students and bring a joy and love of learning to these young adolescents. The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management and be able to motivate students toward academic excellence.  This new faculty member will be committed to advancing the mission of St. Odilia School by:

Qualifications

  • BA or BS Degree, Current MN Teaching License to correspond with courses taught.
  • Exhibit competence in instructional methods and knowledge of subject matter being taught.
  • Demonstrate evidence of good classroom management techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a positive rapport and relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience with technology in the classroom, SMARTBoard, iPad, Macbook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with school, students, staff, and parents.
