Membership and Volunteer Coordinator

St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community, Minneapolis, is seeking a Membership and Volunteer Coordinator.  This full-time position involves the management and maintenance of the SJA parishioner database as well as our parishioner volunteer/Virtus program and maintaining the records of our Memorial Garden.  Working with other staff this job is key to recruiting volunteers who support our ministries as well as events such as the Lenten Soup Suppers. In addition, the job involves coordinating our Sunday Sacristan teams and the recruiting of Sunday liturgy volunteers.  The job requires a wide range of skills and abilities, especially using Parish Soft  and record administration, reporting, and data analysis as well as the ability to collaborate with other staff.  This work involves regular interaction with our parish community.

Database input experience needed

Knowledge of parish operations and ministries/programs very important

Focus on providing accurate input of membership records and working with Finance Office to assure most current membership info

Ongoing recording of parishioner volunteer records and  review of Virtus program qualifications. Work with staff on volunteer recruiting for our ministries as needed. This involves active promotion of parish volunteer needs.

The job will also include coordinating our weekend Sacristans and greeters.  Working in a collaborative manner with other staff is high priority.
