St. Jerome School is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. Our school serves a diverse community of families, many of whom are multi-lingual. We have committed families, collaborative educators and great opportunities for professional and spiritual growth. At St. Jerome we value the developmental stages of childhood, honoring play, discovery and wonder alongside strong academic skill development. We are a Believe and Read program, using the Groves Literacy Program. St. Jerome School is growing every year and the incoming Kindergarten class is about 18-20 students.

Qualifications

We are eager to hear from candidates who:

• Are committed to Catholic education and willing to support and promote a faith-based, virtue driven education.

• Have experience working with young learners, especially in early literacy and math skill development.

• Can demonstrate successful classroom management, based on building relationships, teaching positive expectations and working closely with parents/guardians.

• Have the higher education and experience necessary to be successful in this position, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the young child and his/her social, emotional, spiritual and academic needs. First year teachers are encouraged to apply.

• Have the ability to pass the Archdiocese Essential 3 background check process

• Have a commitment to continuous learning as a professional educator.
