Kindergarten Teacher

Transfiguration is seeking an energetic and loving Kindergarten teacher to create a faith-centered and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners.  The ideal candidate will be an active, practicing Catholic committed to joyfully witnessing the Catholic faith to young people.  The candidate will demonstrate a mission-driven approach, along with the ability to deliver instruction aligned with school curriculum and a commitment to student growth.

• Possess a BA degree in Education or a related field.
• Possess and maintain a current Minnesota teaching license in the level and/or area of specialty in which they teach or satisfy the MNSAA requirements.
• Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of Catholic doctrine, promote the mission of Transfiguration and desire to be a positive and productive member of the staff.
• Successfully complete the Essential 3 requirements – Virtus training, background check, and Code of Conduct.
• Possess the ability to communicate positively with Transfiguration students, parents, staff, administration, parishioners, and the broader community as an ambassador of Transfiguration.
• Computer skills that include the use of Microsoft products, student grading and management software, email, and internet-based programs.
