Interventionist – Temporary January-March 2026

To provide assistance to instructional programs by supporting classroom teachers in achieving educational objectives by working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill levels of the class as a whole. Perform these duties in all assigned subjects in accordance with the school/parish mission statement, philosophy, handbooks, curricula, and directions established by the principal and pastor.

The interventionist would provide small group instruction to our K-3 students through the Believe and Read program using the Groves Method phonics curriculum.  This position would also serve our students in grades 4-8 who need instructional support or small group testing opportunities.  The interventionist would work primarily with reading instruction.

1. 2-year degree in related field or BA/BS degree in related field
2. Experience working in educational setting, focusing on student support
3. Teaching license preferred
4. Practicing Catholic
5. Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and be Virtus compliant
