Description
St. Patrick Catholic Church is seeking a dynamic and faith filled individual to join our Formation team as we guide children, youth, and families on their lifelong journey of discipleship. This position works in collaboration with the Director of Formation to evangelize, engage, and form young people and their families, cultivating missionary disciples who live and share the love of Christ in their everyday lives.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Formation Team to create and lead engaging discipleship opportunities for children, youth, and families.

Oversee middle school and high school ministry programs focused on evangelization, catechesis, and spiritual growth.

Develop and lead engaging family faith formation and children’s catechesis programs.

Manage the Confirmation preparation program, including sacramental records and requirements.

Provide post-Confirmation engagement through small groups, service, and ongoing catechesis.

Ensure all Personal Safety Lessons are presented and documented in compliance with Safe Environment policies.

Recruit, train, and support adult and teen volunteers in accordance with Archdiocesan guidelines.

Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office and Flocknote for administrative and communication tasks.

Coordinate youth participation in events such as Extreme Faith Camp, Steubenville Conferences, and other retreats or service projects.

Support fundraising efforts for youth ministry programs.

Serve as staff liaison for assigned areas of the parish’s annual Country Fest event.

Complete additional projects as assigned by the Director of Formation, Pastor, or Business Administrator.
Qualifications

Practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church and committed to Church teachings.

Passion for relational ministry and evangelization with a missionary disciple mindset.

Strong knowledge of the Catholic faith and a desire for ongoing spiritual and theological growth.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, especially with youth and families.

Ability to manage multiple projects, events, and administrative tasks effectively.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication tools.

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overnight events.

Must pass a background check and complete VIRTUS Safe Environment training.
Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, education, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Experience in Catholic youth ministry or family faith formation is strongly desired.
Application Instructions
This position offers a salary starting at $50,000, with potential for higher compensation based on qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is included, featuring medical and dental insurance, a 403(b)-retirement plan, paid time off, and a range of elective benefits selected by employee.
