Director of Formation and Evangelization

This position is part of the Leadership Team and works with the pastor to implement his vision for all ministries at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota. These ministries include: adult and youth faith formation, sacramental preparation,  synod small groups, hospitality, youth ministry, volunteers and retreat programs.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree in Theology, Religious Studies/Education, Liturgical Studies, Catechetics or related field preferred.
• Must be a Catholic in “good standing” and an active, participating Roman Catholic.
• Experience supervising, directing and empowering staff with positive direction.
• Proficiency in computer programs including Google, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Successfully complete standard Archdiocese Background Checks and Virtus training.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when position demands. Participate in occasional evening and/or weekend responsibilities.
• A “hand’s on” approach - willing to help as needed.
• An ability to communicate effectively with Nativity Parishioners, Parish Staff, Clergy, and members of the community at large, including maintaining a collegial atmosphere in and out of the Parish Offices and Church.
