Coordinator of Adult Ministry

The Church of St. Vincent de Paul is seeking an organized and energetic individual to coordinate OCIA and Adult Formation programming. Consider joining our team in which you will be responsible for preparing and guiding individuals into the Catholic Church and helping others to continue growing in our faith.

Highlights of the job include:

• Overseeing the OCIA program
• Recruiting and training volunteers who meet and journey with catechumens
• Develop a schedule and prepare materials for ongoing adult faith formation
• Act as liaison for small groups

• Active member of a Roman Catholic parish faith community who has knowledge of and lives in a manner consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church
• Must be committed to the Church’s mission of evangelization through practical means of ministry and continually pursue knowledge of the Catholic Faith and Catholic Social Teaching
• Must have a collaborative approach to ministry with solid organizational, planning and communication skills
• Schedule will require the following availability: On average 1 - 2 evenings per week from September – May
• 4 Year Degree in Catholic Theology is preferred.
• 3-5 plus years of experience in overseeing Catholic Faith Formation programs
• Maintain all safe environment training
• A criminal background check must be passed as a condition of employment.
