Carondelet Catholic School is seeking a full-time,  energetic Band and middle school music teacher for the 2024-2025 school year..

Carondelet Catholic School is a dynamic, accredited Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade Elementary school located in Southwest Minneapolis, dedicated to the formation of children who love, respect and serve others in an academically rigorous and supportive environment. 

Our Middle School focuses on learning experiences that lead students to real world practice and application for core skills. Our program is designed around experiential learning with project based learning opportunities every Wednesday, as well as a heavy emphasis on relationship building and service learning. Position

Carondelet Catholic School is seeking a qualified Band and Middle School Music  teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Responsibilities

Teachers at Carondelet  must fulfill many different responsibilities in order to make the school run effectively.  Much like a big family, we all pitch in to make this a great place to work and learn.  Therefore, this description is not intended to be all-inclusive as much as it is to help define what some of the major responsibilities will be.  These are:

• Fully implement the components of instruction across all academic areas.

• Grow professionally as an educator through appropriate professional development (including workshops, PLCs, in-services, staff development, etc.) and participate in required trainings.
• Embrace the Catholic faith and its teachings, including the virtues of peace and social justice.

• Demonstrates exceptional skills in meeting the needs of students
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• MN Teaching License preferred (can be in progress).
