Support the ministry of Worship in collaboration with the Director of Worship to ensure its congruency with the parish’s mission and the pastor’s stated intentions. Support and help coordinate parish liturgies and ministers (including funerals and weddings) that facilitate the full, conscious and active participation of the assembly in the worshiping life of the parish.
Major Responsibilities:
Working collaboratively with Director of Worship
Liturgy and music planning
Wedding Ministry
Funeral Ministry
Other Related Ministry Support
Qualifications
- BA or equivalent work experience including liturgy and music experience.
- Proven experience in parish liturgical ministry.
- Commitment to the spiritual development of all God’s people.
- Commitment to the Catholic Church demonstrated through active participation.
- Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and an acceptable credit report.
