Description
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Assistant Principal to support our preschool–6th grade elementary school (main focus K-6). This individual will work closely with the Principal to assist in the daily administration and operational management of the school.
The Assistant Principal’s focus will be on supporting teachers and students, working with organizational systems, scheduling, curriculum and accredidation compliance, communication, and various school-wide logistics. This role is to help support a safe, efficient, and mission-driven learning environment for students, staff, and families.
Responsibilities may include:

Supporting daily school operations and administrative systems

Assisting with scheduling, supervision, and school-wide logistics

Ensuring compliance with school, diocesan, and state requirements

Supporting clear and consistent communication with staff and families

Collaborating with the Principal to uphold the school’s mission and culture
- Assisting in the implementation, and follow-through of school-wide and individual student behavior plans to support a positive learning environment
This position may be structured as part-time or full-time, depending on the qualifications and availability of the candidate pool.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership and valid MN teaching license.
- Experience in school operations, administration, teaching, or leadership preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced school environment.
- Desire to help coach and support educators, students, and families.
- Willing to seek additional licensure for administration.
