4th grade Teacher

St. John the Baptist Catholic School is seeking a 4th-grade teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Candidates must be mission-driven, curriculum-aligned, and committed to student growth. 

St. John the Baptist Catholic School is located in Vermillion, MN.  We are 20 minutes south of St. Paul and part of the Hastings School District.  Our school serves students in Preschool - 4th grade.  We have 120 students and pride ourselves on knowing and caring for our students individually.

A strong candidate will have:

• BA/BS degree in education or a related field
• A valid MN teaching license or teaching certification.
• Proven experience in differentiated instruction and the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles.
• Active commitment to the Catholic faith and a demonstrated ability to integrate Gospel values and virtues into a classroom setting.
• A history of working effectively within professional learning communities and cross-functional committees.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building trust with parents and community stakeholders.
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and productive class environment
• Familiarity with current educational standards and a readiness to maintain Essential 3 compliance (Virtus, background check, Code of Conduct).
