St. Pascal Regional Catholic School is seeking a full-time, creative, and qualified educator to join our team as an Elective Teacher for grades K-8. The ideal candidate will bring energy and passion to teaching a range of elective courses, with opportunities to work with students at every grade level.
We are open to candidates who can teach one or more of the following subject areas:
- Spanish Language & Culture
- Screen Strong Curriculum (helping students understand and manage screen time, and strengthening family connections)
- Art
- Music
- Socratic Seminar
- Financial Literacy
- Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Skills

General Responsibilities

- Design and implement engaging curriculum in your area(s) of expertise
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Integrate Catholic values within your subject area(s)
- Collaborate with faculty to support overall student development
- Maintain effective communication with parents and staff
- Track and document student progress
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development
Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $25 / per hour
Starting pay is determined by the candidate's experience and education level

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Experience teaching or working with K-8 students
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Additional Qualifications (based on subject area):
- For Spanish: Spanish language proficiency
- For SEL/Wellness: Background in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred
- For Yoga: Current yoga teaching certification (minimum 200-hour RYT) preferred
- For Financial Literacy: Background in business, finance, or economics preferred
- For College/Career Readiness: Experience in college counseling or career development preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work a full-time schedule of 40+ hours per week, including attendance at required school events (graduation, holiday programs, and other activities as determined by administration)
- Sustained mobility to move throughout classroom and school environments for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks required in an educational setting
- Full sensory capabilities including ability to speak clearly, see, hear, and respond effectively to students, staff, and administrators at all times
- Ability to fulfill all commitments of the educational program throughout the school year
