1st Grade Teacher for 2026-2027 +

St. Jerome School is seeking a faith-filled and vibrant 1st grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.   This candidate would be required to teach the full curriculum.  We use the Groves teaching method for reading.   Our literacy coach will support new teachers and help them become certified as a Groves teacher.  Teachers are supported by our reading specialist, Phy. Ed, and Music staff.  We use the Catalyst approach and provide ongoing professional development in this highly effective method. St. Jerome School is blessed to serve a beautifully diverse community of multi-lingual students who are faithful, eager and very engaged. We have a strong, supportive leadership and teaching team.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree;
• Supportive of Catholic education and Catholic social teaching;
• Current MN teaching license is preferred;
• Completion of the Archdiocese Essential 3 program;
• Effective classroom management skills;
• Effective collaboration with others;
• Strong communication with students, staff and school leadership;
• Commitment to personal/professional growth and learning.
