1st Grade Teacher

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School is seeking a 1st grade teacher to join our dynamic faculty and staff beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, partnering with the other 1st grade teacher.  We are looking for a teacher who is excited to teach 1st grade, fostering a love for the faith, academics, and community.   The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management and be someone who is able to motivate students for academic excellence.  This new faculty member will be committed to advancing the mission of St. Vincent de Paul by:

• BA or BS Degree, Current MN Teaching License
• Exhibit competence in instructional methods and knowledge of subject matter being taught.
• Demonstrate evidence of good classroom management techniques.
• Develop and maintain a positive rapport and relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience with technology in the classroom, including the use of SMARTBoards, Chromebooks, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with school, students, staff, and parents.
