1st Grade Teacher 2026-2027 School Year

Sacred Heart is looking for a faith-filled and vibrant 1st grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.   This candidate would be required to teach the full curriculum.  We use the Groves teaching method for reading.   Our reading coach will support new teachers and help them become certified as a Groves teacher.  Teachers are supported by our reading specialist, Spanish, phy ed, music, art, and library staff.  Classroom management is key to a successful school year.    We have a great mentoring program in place for all new staff.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Practicing Catholic.
• Current MN teaching license is preferred.
• Pass a required background check and any additional required pre-employment training.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Integrate technology within curriculum.
• Effectively and positively work with others.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff and supervisors.
