Description
Our parish is seeking a dependable evening maintenance person to help care for our church and accompanying facilities. This role includes maintaining and assisting with cleaning of facilities, serving as an on-site security presence, and acting as a welcoming liaison for parishioners and visitors. Responsibilities also include assisting with event setup and take-down, ensuring spaces are clean, orderly, and secure throughout the evening hours.
The ideal candidate is trustworthy, attentive, and service-oriented, with a heart for supporting parish life.
Qualifications
Must be able to work independently.
Possess a "Can do" attitude, and be a welcoming and accommodating face of the parish for staff and parishioners.
Have experience and knowledge of building maintenance and repairs.
Able to read and follow written instructions of staff and parish groups.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Complete a background check and Virtus training.
