Interim Technology Teacher/Tech Support

St. Timothy's Catholic School in Maple Lake, Minnesota is now accepting applications for a part-time interim technology teacher/tech support personnel for the 2025-2026 school year. This teacher will provide technology instruction to 2nd through 5th grade students focusing on word processing, excel, power point, basic computer knowledge, and some robotics/stem based activities. There would be eight  ½ hour classes (meeting twice per week).  The candidate should have had previous teaching experience. Optional add-on duties which would lengthen hours to 10 hours (.2125-.25 FTE), would be to maintain technological equipment (chromebooks, i-pads, smart boards) and software programs (IXL, library, several other software programs, etc.) including assignment of chrome books to students and troubleshooting teacher usage of said technology.  This is a one-year position as we are phasing out this class after this year. 

Qualifications 

• Teaching degree or the equivalent–technology experience/knowledge most important
• Be an actively practicing Catholic contributing to the faith community of Saint Timothy's 

Duties 

• provide direct technology instruction to 2nd-5th grade students 
• collaborate with classroom teachers to contribute to overall classroom goals
