Description
Visitation School seeks a Campus Ministry Associate beginning August 2025. This is a full-time, August – June (11-month), benefits eligible position.
The role of the Campus Ministry Associate is to work collaboratively with and support the Director of Salesian Life and Ministry and the Department of Salesian Life and Ministry by ensuring Salesian Spirituality is embodied, shared and integrated into all aspects of life at Visitation School and the extended Visitation community. The Campus Ministry Associate is expected to uphold Salesian traditions, support and initiate new efforts of the Department of Salesian Life and Ministry in carrying on the Visitation charism, as well as support and assist in coordinating activities related to faith, service, and Salesian Spirituality carried out by other departments, groups, and associations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently and whole-heartedly demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Visitation School, “…to provide an excellent education within a Catholic environment permeated by Salesian Spirituality and the living tradition of the Visitation Sisters.” and the Salesian Charism to Live Jesus.
- Collaboratively contribute to the mission, goals and objectives that guide and evaluate the effectiveness of the Department of Salesian Life and Ministry and programs.
- Support the Director of Salesian Life and Ministry with administrative support and logistics for retreats, liturgies, and campus service events.
- Coordinate all Donations, Drives and Service Projects throughout the school (i.e. Winter Clothing collection, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Stocking Project)
- Participate and support the Department of Salesian Life and Ministry in varied Salesian programs, projects and curriculum that impact faculty/staff and student life in the Visitation Lower, Middle and Upper schools, and broader Visitation community.
- Assist in managing the Campus Ministry budget and monthly reconciliation of expenses
- Support Chapel sacristan duties for daily Mass, all school liturgies, and other special Masses and prayer services
- Support the planning and execution of Mass, liturgies, reconciliation services, and special programming for Founders’ Day, Live Jesus Day and other special feast days. Serve in an administrative capacity to support the Director of Salesian Life and Ministry.
- Assist in Service Learning Program by tracking student hours and managing school-sponsored service opportunities
QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Prior administrative experience.
- Ability to work both in a team setting as well as independently.
- Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple projects and workflows at once, while providing highly personal experience for all employees, students and families.
- Self-starter, able to identify tasks and take initiative to address the needs of the Department and School.
- Dependability and readiness to go above and beyond when necessary to reach goals.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS products and Google platforms.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
- Uses appropriate discretion and ensures the confidentiality of documents, materials, meeting content and other verbal and written communications.
- Displays professionalism, can-do willingness and ownership approach to work.
- Able to perform tasks in a timely and proactive manner and properly follows up and follows through to ensure items are completed timely.
- Able to demonstrate and model the philosophies and spirit of Visitation School. “Salesian Spirituality” reflects gentle strength, dignity, patience and Christian humanism.
Preferred Attributes:
- 1 – 3 years of administrative experience working in a dynamic office environment.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Experience within an independent and/or educational environment.
- Previous experience in event planning.

Salary Range: $40,000 – 45,000 annually
