Music Director

1. Plans and provides liturgical music for the regular weekend masses, Holy days, and special and regular sacramental celebrations of the parish throughout the liturgical year.

2. Recruits, rehearses, directs and accompanies the parish, contemporary and bell choir and cantors.

3. In charge of finding musicians for parish funerals, weddings and other sacramental celebrations where the director do not accompany.

4. Makes the worship aids for Sunday masses and as needed.

5. Responsible for the procurement and maintenance of musical instruments and books and copyright licenses.

6. Works with the pastor for approval of all liturgical plans.

7. Works with the liturgy committee for all liturgical activities and plans

1. Knowledge about Liturgy and Music in the Catholic Church
2. Active in his/her Catholic faith
3. Background in music and proficiency in piano and organ playing and/or other musical instruments.
