Chesterton Academy of the Saint Croix Valley, a joyful, classical high school taught in the Catholic tradition seeks a talented and dynamic full-time high school math and science teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026  academic year.

We are seeking a versatile teacher whose love of science is matched by their love of teaching and forming high school students in the Catholic faith. Teachers must have a passion for a Catholic liberal arts education, and must be able to lead a dialectically driven classroom. 

Every student at Chesterton Academy takes four years of science. Science plays a crucial integrating role in the Chesterton Academy curriculum blending elements of reason and faith.

Chesterton Academy of the Saint Croix Valley offers a rigorous, integrated high school curriculum centered on the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. Our Mission is to raise up joyful saints through the time-tested tradition of classical Catholic education.

A bachelor’s degree in math, biology, chemistry, or a science field is preferred.

Two to five years of previous teaching experience is preferred. Passion for Catholic, classical education is necessary.

The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.

In addition to their teaching and administrative responsibilities, faculty at Chesterton Academy are integral to the culture of the school.  They are expected to model the Catholic virtuous life and actively contribute to the vibrant school culture. This includes participating in our House system which is designed to promote character and virtue, actively supporting student events and clubs,  and helping students to grow in holiness. Faculty members are required to attend daily Mass with the entire student body and participate in spiritual retreats or other school activities.
