Description
The role of the Administrative Assistant is to assist the Administrative Team with the smooth and effective daily operations of the school. The primary responsibilities involve being a welcome first encounter for those who contact the school, clerical support for school administration, and organizing school office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications
1. Adhere to the mission of The Way of the Shepherd Catholic Montessori School.
2. A practicing Roman Catholic preferred.
3. Two years of experience in operational management in education is preferred but not required.
4. Possess at least 2 years' experience with secretarial and clerical tasks. A Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Business, Communication, or Customer Service preferred.
5. Love God and desire to share their faith with others.
6. Love children and desire to help them in their personal character, virtue, and faith development
7. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with parents, students, and staff.
8. Demonstrate excellent spoken and written communication skills.
9. Utilize good judgment, a professional demeanor, and solid problem solving skills to handle multiple tasks under interruption.
10. Maintain professionalism in speech, dress, action, and confidentiality.
