Description

Chesterton Academy  is seeking a full-time Science teacher to join our passionate and dedicated faculty starting in the 2026-27 school year.

Philosophy and Teaching of Science at Chesterton Academy

Science at Chesterton Academy is taught as an ordered inquiry into God’s creation, fostering wonder, awe, and reverence for the natural world. Through the integrated study of astronomy, biology, chemistry, and physics, students encounter the laws and structures that govern the physical universe while learning the methods by which scientific knowledge is discovered. With Christ the Incarnate Logos at the center of the Integrated Curriculum, faith and reason are held in fruitful dialogue as students study the natural world as God’s creation. Scientific study is conducted in harmony with the Catholic faith, addressing ethical questions in light of Church moral teaching and forming students as thoughtful stewards of creation who respect the dignity of human life. Science at Chesterton is integral to promoting the Culture of Life.
