Full-Time Youth Minister – St Albert, Albertville
Job DescriptionJob Purpose: Maintain and develop a solid parish Youth Ministry where teens are being led
closer to Christ and His Church, especially in the ongoing facilitation of the high school Core Team, which provides the primary ministry and outreach to the middle school youth.
Job Qualifications1. Demonstrate understanding and acceptance of Catholic doctrine.
2. BA or equivalent work experience including Youth Ministry, Teaching, and / or
3. Prior experience in parish Youth Ministry preferred.
4. Understanding of Archdiocesan policies regarding Youth Ministry and Sacramental
curriculum, including working knowledge of PCYI compliance, and reporting desired.
5. Team player with a positive attitude.
6. Experience in general office procedures with working knowledge of computers and
Microsoft Office, and Google Office Suite.

Catholic Church Youth Offices currently collaborate in all regards. As such, the youth ministry program operates as one, because the youth are from the same school district and the youth ministers have worked together for many years and have built the programs together. These years of collaboration have built a strong program and a strong support system of staff and volunteers from both parishes. As such, the youth office staff serve both parishes and surrounding communities with equal attention and effort. Within this collaboration, the Youth Minister from each particular parish focuses specifically on outreach to youth from the parish that employs them.
Community DescriptionThe Church of St. Albert is located in the heart of Albertville, MN which is located on I-94 about half way between Minneapolis and St. Cloud. For over 110 years St. Albert has strived to grow in the love of God through the celebration of the Eucharist and other Sacraments, learning about our faith and reaching out to those in need.Our goal is to support each other, strengthen the presence of Christ in one another and attain eternal bliss with Him.
