Job Description

No one can lay a foundation other than the one that is there, namely Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 3:11)

In Sacrosanctum Concilium, Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, we read: “The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the font from which all her power flows. For the aim and object of apostolic works is that all who are made sons of God by faith and baptism should come together to praise God in the midst of His Church, to take part in the sacrifice, and to eat the Lord's supper.”

The Liturgy Associate at St. John Neumann will prepare and support parish liturgies at St. John Neumann, manage Ministry Scheduler Pro (MSP), supervise and train various liturgical ministers.

Key responsibilities include:

● Collaborate with Music Director at weekend liturgies
● Document plans for Sundays, Holy Days, and liturgical seasons
● Coordinate liturgical ministers
● Develop formation and training for liturgical ministers in collaboration with Worship Committee
● Manage Worship Ministry budget
● Record Liturgy Team minutes
